Hull Building Control forms part of Planning Services within the Regional Development Directorate. Development Control, Planning Enforcement, Urban Design & Conservation and Archaeology also make up Planning Services.

Hull Building Control incorporates qualified officers in both Building Control and fire engineering fields. Building Control services are delivered by one team divided into five geographical areas led by a Principal Officer.

Partner Authority Scheme: Hull Building Control actively participates in the Partner Authority Scheme and any enquiries with regard to individual applications should be directed to the Principal Officer above.

Development Control is responsible for the statutory control of development under the Town and Country Planning Acts, including listed buildings, conservation area and advertisements consent. Tel: 01482 612345

Building and Development Control offices are open 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Friday, and can be readily accessed via public transport and by road. Ample parking is available opposite.
