Calderdale Building Control Services are part of the Regeneration and Development Directorate of the local authority. For the purposes of Building Regulation administration, the district is divided into two areas – north and south – and each area is covered by a team of professionally qualified Surveyors headed by a Building Control Team Leader.

We provide a high quality, effective and efficient service based on Best Value principles, which ensures the customer receives value for money. The section, which holds Charter Mark for customer service excellence, also operates ISO 9001:2000 accredited quality management systems and remains proactive in responding to change to continually improve the service.
